Slow Loris

This little one is endangered. It hangs in those trees with a pincer like grip for hours and hours and holds still when threatened.

Like a cat it grooms itself, but unlike a cat, a glandular secretion on its arm mixes with saliva and becomes toxic. Giving the slow loris a poisonous bite, quite unusual for a mammal.

The phantasmal poison frog may be a small fry, but sure packs a punch. This brightly marked cutie has a poison not to be reckoned with.
